Well the damage done on MOST attacks seems nuetral (i noticed a massive decrease in monster damage when i put on a Dev). There special attacks however is elemental, although it doesnt happen as often as nuetral hitting.

Personally in the Valley id use a Dev robe, Garm armour and a Shield from hell. If your in skillington id consider dropping the Dev for a immune.

There's no point in dropping an extra 30% damage reduction because of occasional attacks that deal maybe 300-500 damage. Every single Priest or High priest out there can outheal that kind of damage. And as  it wa said, Disguise works if the shadow attack really bothers you.

i believe decent skill wins all armors.

Well, while you mob, basically you wont stand in the ME after you ME'ed. That is commiting suicide.
I dont know, i mob a lot. And if I stand in ME after i ME'ed, i will die, even thought i have 12k hp.

So i tend to run a lot, (finger will numbs after an hour...too much Clicking.. >_<")
I mob and i ME'ed then walk Around the ME. So that the mobs chasing you but at the same time, they r in the ME.  ;)

I bought a +7 garm and a +7 tirfing and the damage difference surprised me; I sure don't regret it  :o
Previously dullahans managed to do around 50-60 damage but now its just 10-35  :o
 :) ;) :D ;D

If you are rich, healer or a tanker class yes...

If your a poor low HP class then no

Basically u can get 1 shot KO'd by that attack.

If you get 1 hit killed by that dully shadow attack then you should go and train somewhere else o.O...
Dullahans attack around 1k at max if you have 0 DEF. Even with NPC gears you'll get 20-30% reduction. With Kahos, some upgrades and all that other IC stuff coupled with buffs you'll reduce the damage a whole lot more. To maybe around 300 points at most. Now 50% more to that is like 450 HP taken from you, 600 at max. If that one hit kills you then you're doing something wrong.

My LK gets shot when I get mobbed by dulahans because I've got a devi muff.. Those jerks spend their time using their special attacks which is annoying and I sometimes can't outheal 6 dulahans doing 500dmg... I'll have to drop a disguise card for sure >>.

Well LK who acn't outheal/outcake/outmeat etc isn't that uncommon. But we're  talking about HP's who generally can reach 2k heals relatively easily.
