Anthem and my Laptop.

Sometimes, only once in a while, when playing anthem, and I use the F1-F9 keys, windows will make a beeping sound, and it won't perform the action in game.

Now, other than evidence to start using Battlemode, does anyone know why windows is doing that

Is it possible that you are accidentally pushing the Function key??
