Patcher doesn't open anthem.exe

I've been half ignoring this for a while and was just wondering if Im the only one getting this problem.

I can run anthem completely fine and all, it's just that if I want to patch I open the patcher and usually when I would hit start it would start up the anthem.exe and I could log in etc.. you know the drill

However, over the past few months after I patch and hit start it just closes and doesn't start up anthem.exe, so I have to manually click anthem.exe to start up the game

Am I the only one experiencing this?

There was a fix posted looooooooooooooooong ago.

Install my MiniSetup to your RO folder, run dyefire, and it'll work:

really?  I uninstalled and reinstalled when they released those and it still didn't work... I'll try it again I guess

haha maybe I was better off not messing with it.  I uninstalled and reinstalled with that link, but now it won't let me duelclient like I used to.  It lags strangely and refuses to load the other window unless i'm on it.. so like that character gets stuck in time x.x; dang it... *goes back to trouble shooting*

If you did, run two dyefires to dual/triple client.

i installed your miniset up and it refused to let me duel-client with dyefire, it kept giving me a 'dye.ini' not found *i'd check for the exact filename but I'm already reinstalling everything*

I save all set ups and installs so I'm just trying to re-piece this back together again

Sakray -> My Minisetup -> Patch Sakray -> Run dyefire.

Also make sure you've got my Minisetup 2.2, not 2.0.

yeah I know, and I was using the one you linked me to (your 2.2 version) xD;

I've uninstalled and reinstalled RO enough times to personally understand the order  (I keep different folders of just the basic files raglite-sakray-dyefire-antheminstalls just out of 'safety' ).. it's just not wanting to function correctly...

Could just use http://www.anthemro.com/Patch/AnthemPatch.exe and replace the old patcher? n_n

yeah, cuz whatever acejay has in here it's severely effecting my game's performance and it's still not opening anthem.exe with the patcher x.x;

I dunno, with what ace gave me, it won't let me duel.. like the other window freezes even if I have it on like autofollow... and it won't 'move' until I go to the other window... bah *has to reinstall for a 4th time past 30 minutes*

And you can rest assured that my MiniSetup does not contain any spyware, illegal things, etc. If it did, the thousands of people who've downloaded it already would have noticed something.

You can use the Patcher Denia posted, which I included in my MiniSetup.

But I also included Raglite, so if you already had that stuff, you should be fine without my MiniSetup.

yeah I do I dunno seriously what's going on. I have never had this problem before... my computer never lags when only duel-clienting (has over 2 gigs of ram) so that's why I'm really severely puzzled why it's not working correctly..

I'm retrying with downloading the mini-setup from the actual site, though it seems to be the same version I had originally.. I'm patching it up and going to try a 5th time.

Edit: lmfao, now it's giving me the 'error and random gibberish' stuff... bah... x.x;

IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS AT ALL:

Move these files (sdata, sakray, sakexe, and spatch), and your BGM folder (if you have one) to a new folder, and install my MiniSetup (found [Here] or [Here] or [Here]) to that new folder.

After you've installed it, Sakray will autopatch, then you start dyefire. This should patch Anthem, then you can play the game.

That should work :|

Well, you have the same problem as me. I never bother to fix it. I just use anthem.exe instead dyefire which it can't open @_@

nope.. still really really weird.. I mean I can get in game, but I can't duel-client 'correctly'

it's acting like.. RO can only load one window WHILE it's selected?  *is attempting this in geffen right now* x.x;

example:  My novice is set to autofollow my HP.  HP moves up several squares, novice does not move at all... *waits* still no movement.  alt+tab to the novice screen.  He automatically runs up to where the priest was.

This is... highly annoying x.x; I will.. uninstall and reinstall for the 8th time now.
