Colour Change NPC
« on: February 13, 2008, 05:03:58 pm »
I changed colours with the appropriate NPC in Prontera, then when I left the building my colours were just back to normal, although when I am in the character select screen it has the new palette... Is the colour change NPC just not working right, or is it my account?

You need a clothing dye program called Dyefire

You have to open the game using the "dyefire" program in your RO folder.

you have to let the dyefire patch. afterwards open an anthem client. (that's what works for me)

Dyefire doesn't patch. but the default settings are to open your patcher.exe when you open dyefire. In the config menu you can have it open the anthem.exe or do nothing when you open it. However, Dyefire must be open prior to opening your Anthem.exe (opened manually or through the patcher's start game feature) in order to have the color change effects stay with your character.
