wow jeez the price for a +10 chain jumps around all the time... i remember it being expensive then really cheap and then expensive again

Chain[3] are in pretty high demand, however they're only dropped by two monsters at low chance. A Maronette (spelling?) and I think it's Marc (something in Bib 3).

Anyway, expect to pay anything from 150~350k just for the Chain itself :S

I know someone got one for 3mill, back when they weren't popular. I made my own, took ages to gather them up.

chain[3] are dropped by marine spheres not marcs. Chain[3] now are between 350k ~ 500k. Following upgrade policy
+8 Chain[3] should be 2M
+9 Chain[3] should be 5M ish
+10 chain[3] 9~12M
