A question about the rules. GM input welcome.

Hello. I was wondering to what extant if any are we allowed to discuss official servers both in game and on Internet. I realize we are not supposed to mention other servers. Does this include official ones?

I think its okay to talk about other servers as long as you don't advertise their server/websites or badmouth them.

Discussions about other servers that are not official should stay off these boards. Discussions in game are at your own discretion. If a passerby thinks that you are trying to advertise and say how great a certain server is in comparison, then you might be muted for advertising if they feel you are trying to market the server to them and the gm reviewing it sees it as such. If you want to discuss it, I would keep it off the forums and in pm's to avoid any problems.

We do discuss iRO and other official servers often to compare mechanics so I guess its all right.
