How far do does the dracula card's effects go?
« on: January 30, 2008, 11:41:12 pm »
I heard it doesn't go farther then the first 2 in a weapon.. and also, what about when a assassin uses a mace and a main gauche?

Eh?  You mean only 2 cards work, thus giving you a 30% boost in exp instead of 60%?  Pretty sure that's not true.  Then nobody would have quad drac MGs...

A Sin dual-wielding 4x Drac weapons would probably yield a ton of exp.
Spoiler for :):

OMG just imagine if you were lvling in a area where those weapons would be most effective?

4 dracs do work. I tested them out back then with 1-4 dracs.

What about when a assassin gets leeching when useing a quad drac mace and a  quad mace main gauche?
Profit  ??? or some serious fast leveling  ;D

Is it 15% for the first drac, then the second drac gives 15% more to that 15?
Or is it 15+15=30?

I don't know if anyone is gonna get what i'm trying to ask. :\

I dont get it.

It simply stacks, 4 dracs = 60% as well as 4 turtle general Mgs give +80% dmg.

What I'm trying to ask is...

Say you kill a monster that gives 25exp.

1 drac would give 15 percent, adding 3.75% more. (15% of 25 would be 3.75)

28.75exp

Add another drac. 15% of 28.75 is 4.3125

33.0625exp

And so on.
Because when you take a percent of a percentage, shoudn't the total be lower be lower than the figure of 60% like you said?

Maybe I'm thinking too much about this. It's always bugged me. That's all.

Monster exp : 25 exp
Additonal exp : 25 x 60% = 15 exp
Total exp = 40 exp

I am very sure that it works i tested it /ok

I dont think the cards apply "step by step". As far as i know, the cards stack and effect the exp at "the same time"

yup yup, It would suck if it was individualy multiplied. But it was a very good question.

Now that I think about it..Its the same thing. Weather it multiplied by 15% ( 1 at a time )  or 60% ( 4 at a time )

Lets work with a round number.

100 exp.  15% of 100 is 15
 60% of 100 = 60

So If It multiplys 1 at a time, you will still end up with the same amount of exp anyway.

i think he means u'll get for the first 15%..then a second could be another 15% PLUS 15% over the first 15%...so that woudl be
15% added means amount of exp tyimes 1.15 so..
100exp x 1.15=115 for the first
the another one COULD be 115 times 1.15 = 132.25
(third) 132.25 x 1.15= 152.0875
(4) 152.0875 x 1.15 = 174.900625
so the additional exp would be 174.9 - 100 = 74.9 instead of 60...
im not saying this is true but i always wondered myself... is it exp times (15%x4) or exp times (15%x15%x15%x15%)

The cards stack normally, they won't multiply with each other. 4 Dracs=60% more EXP 8 dracs=120% EXP (though I'm not sure if it can pass 100% o_O)

The only thing that could multiply is another card in the footgear. For example dracs+am mut might multiply but I'm not sure.
