...Or not?  Why aren't the streets strewn with hearts, chocolates, and candy wrappers?
Where's my valentine?

Where Is the Love? Something is amiss, and though we hope you spent your Valentine's Day with loved ones, we'll need a little help piecing things back together for everyone else here.  Soul Linkers Amos and Cherie are waiting in Jawaii with their own theories, and they brought Valentine's Day party favors to exchange for your help. Spoiler for Event Guide: Mini event: Speak to Amos, equip the item he gives you, and then hunt Chocoruchi monsters in various fields around the world.  Cherie also seems to be up to something, but it will take some time before she is ready to reveal her plan.

Love Letters It feels like the only person interested in receiving any valentines this year is Anwil, a young man in need of someone strong enough to deliver his love letters.  He stands pensively at Izlude Town's boat dock (198, 183), staring helplessly at the ocean.  Though he doesn't seem to have any rewards to give, he hopes someone might be willing to help him purely for the sake of love! Spoiler for Hidden: Mini quest: Help write and deliver Anwil's letters to Esme.  Sending enough "good" letters will help build up Anwil and Esme's relationship.  At high levels, Esme may even start sending gifts more and more frequently - gifts that Anwil might not actually want. Please be advised that rewards may include account-bound items that can be sold to NPCs for inventory space.

A Lunar New Year

February 19th marks the first day of the lunar calendar and we're here to celebrate with you!

This centuries old festival is steeped in customs and traditions. It's generally the time to pay one's respects to gods, ancestors, and elders as well as prepare and cleanse one's self and environment for a brand spanking new year! Out with the old and in with the new!

May 2015 bring you good health, wealth and happiness!

Happy New Year! It's the Lunar Moon and the citizens in Louyang, Payon, Gonryun and Amatsu are prepping for yet another New Year! Spread warm wishes and good luck and you may just get something in return for your effort! Make sure you're dressed properly though, or they may not believe you! The peddler at payon 142,205 may be able to help you with that--if you're willing to pay the price for expediency! (Otherwise, quests are here.)

A Lunar Harvest While you're in town, you may want to check out Payon Inn. Grandma Millie (payon_in01 192,37) is in serious need of help. Her grain has been mysteriously disappearing and now she doesn't have enough rice to make her famous rice cakes! Dig deeper and you may just find out who's been taking her rice and what they've been doing with it...

Lunar New Year content will disappear on March 01, 2015.
Valentine/White Day content will disappear on March 14, 2015.

• Heart has been unbound and may be sold to NPCs.
• Ethereal Sachet and Lost Heart will only be soulbound for the duration of the event.
• Ethereal Sachet and Lost Heart will lose their power after the event ends.
• Red Envelope max amount temporarily raised to 50,000z.
  
• Added notification to Red Envelope.
• Rice Cake is now mobile.
• Tempting Rice Cake Soup temporarily added to payon 209,127.
• Large Firecracker purchase price raised to 1,000z.
