It has been four years since the attack on Christmas made by what many assumed to be the Rekenber Corporation, and although its innocence has been proven, tensions between them and Pax Imperia have rocketed to new heights. Meanwhile, the mysterious forces actually responsible for the attack have vanished, leaving clues to their whereabouts almost nonexistent.
Everyone is beginning to feel comfortable with enjoying the festivities once more without fear of some horrible incident when suddenly, Santa Claus announces a state of emergency, asking for the assistance of any and all able-bodied adventurers who might be willing to help. This IS Santa Claus, so helping him could prove to be very rewarding indeed...

The Kafra Corporation has launched their biggest drives for the holiday season. They need your help if they're to meet goals and bring joy to families for some extra holiday cheer. Please contact Kafra Christie in Prontera (151, 191) to offer your support.
The associates at the Kafra Headquarters in northwest Aldebaran are also offering a limited-time Christmas Special Menu in exchange for your Kafra reserve points (aldeba_in : 79, 161). Be sure to drop by before it disappears!

Follow them, and perhaps you'll stumble upon
Nick the Hobo. You'll find this grumpy old man wandering his territory, mostly keeping to himself and trying to stay warm for the winter. If you run into him, he might just give you a tiny gift box for the holidays, but don't pester him too much in one day!

Item Shop has been restocked with Xmas Boxes containing surprise gifts for your friends! Each box contains a random headgear, equipment, card, or Cute-Pet egg, and each color conceals different possibilities!
As usual, there will also be a follow-up raffle after the end of the event for additional prizes. Each box purchased from the Item Shop will count as one entry for that box color's raffle prizes. We will draw

The raffle will take place after Xmas Boxes have been removed, and results will be posted in a subsequent announcement.
