Automated Services Update

Gareth Morrowynd now has the ability to perform sex changes in addition to his other services. Select the "Gender Change" option while in possession of one Service Ticket. Gareth will not perform this service if your account has a Bard, Dancer, Minstrel, or Gypsy.

Misc Changes GvG is enabled in guild dungeons. Yuno and Rachel Treasure Chests now drop Brynhild and Asprika ingredient boxes. Vending Machine now restocks automatically. Fixed Dark Knight Mask quest. Fixed broken Halloween rewards.

Santa's Christmas Donuts

Christmas time is upon us! Santa Claus, the big man in red himself, seems to be doing well this time around... more so than ever before!  He definitely won't need your help to save Christmas this year—but making sure everything is right and ready for his annual Christmas romp is tough work... Talk to Santa to see if there's anything you can do for him this Christmas in this incredibly silly quest!  Feel the Spirit of Giving upon you! You can find Santa Claus at his home in Lutie in the building at 145, 240, directly south of the Toy Factory entrance. This quest currently requires the Finding the Moving Island quest in order to be completed.  Moscovia memos and Warp Portal will not bring you to the correct map to find Mishka.  If you completed the Finding the Moving Island quest for Moscovia access before the switch to eAthena and find that the quest is not working for you, please submit a support ticket in order to fix this bug.  This issue does not affect anyone who has completed the quest after the eAthena switch or is currently in the process of completing it. This quest also requires: Patience. Ability to solve riddles. Ability to farm rare drops. Ability to save Christmas!...sorta...

Farvir: Chapter 1

The next chapter of IsFörsvar's legend is also available! Speak to Theo the bartender in Farvir to continue the story. Several other citizens of Farvir have also found themselves in need of some extra assistance, introducing well over a dozen new sidequests. Try to see how quickly you can complete them all! You must have completed Chapter 0 in order to begin Chapter 1. If you have not yet started Chapter 0, find the Merchant along Alberta's south docks to begin!

Holiday Item Shop Specials
Red, Yellow, Blue, and Green Xmas Boxes have returned!  You can give them to your loved ones or keep them for yourself!  We've trimmed out even more of the common items and updated them with newer presents.  Boxes may contain rare headgears, pet eggs, a variety of monster cards, Celebration Rings, expensive armor, and even Lord Kaho's Horns—but choose carefully!  Each box color contains its own unique set of items, meaning some items can only be found in certain boxes.

An eerie sound can be heard from within the castles of Rune Midgard...

Rune Midgard scientists were dispatched to investigate the strange sound, only to find dimensional cracks that lead to an alternate plane of existence deep within the castle. Always curious about paranormal phenomena, the Cat Hand Agents have offered to help maintain the dimensional cracks which lead to what is now known as the Hall of Abyss.

After heated debate between the Rune-Midgarts Kingdom and Cat Hand Agents, it was decided that the Hall of Abyss will only be open to castles with exceptionally high economy.

Dungeon Access
Due to the structure of our WoE schedule, AnesisRO's Halls of the Abyss investment system has been modified to work in the following way:

Castle and Guardian Economy < 50

• Only the first floor of the guild dungeon is available.
• Only the guild that owns the castle may enter the first floor of the guild dungeon.

Castle and Guardian Economy 50–89

• The guild that owns the castle may now enter the second floor of the guild dungeon.
• First floor access is extended to the public for an entrance fee of 50 000 zeny.

Castle and Guardian Economy > 90

• Connection to the Hall of Abyss will be complete.
• The guild that owns the castle may now exclusively enter the realm's Hall of Abyss.
• Second floor access is extended to the public for an entrance fee of 150 000 zeny.

To enter a guild dungeon, speak to one of the Dungeon Masters listed above.  If your guild does not currently own that realm's castle, you will be required to pay an entrance fee (but you will be compensated with one Thanks Ticket for every 50 000 zeny you spend).  Thanks Tickets can be redeemed at the Thanks Ticket Machine located near each Dungeon Master.  Guild members may access the dungeon for free, but you will not receive a ticket unless you choose to pay the entrance fee.  Please be aware that guild vs guild combat has been enabled in guild dungeon maps.


Rewards
Numerous new items await in the dungeons!  17 Vellum weapons and the Mental Destroyer may be found deep within the guild dungeons, and there is a chance to receive one of 8 Siege armor pieces inside the Thanks Ticket Machine's Black Paw Jelly Bag!  Here are just a few examples of things you may find:

  Increases damage to enemy players by 40% and bypasses 30% Def.
  If refined to +6 or higher, increases damage of Mammonite and Bowling Bash by 80%.
  If refined to +9 or higher, increases physical damage to enemy players by an additional 60%.

+5 to all Stats. Enables use of lvl 3 True Sight.
Additionally allows use of Break Fall when refined to +7 or higher ( Break Fall is always available for Snipers ).

Happy Valentine's (and Singles Awareness) Day from AnesisRO!

Spring is still a month away, but love is already in the air!  Adventurers all across Midgard have laid down their weapons in order to exchange flowers, chocolates, cards, and other romantic gifts.  Many monsters have stopped attacking in hopes that stray adventurers will listen to their woes and help them find companions this year.  Why, even Pax Imperia and Rekenber Corporation have set aside their differences and embraced romance thanks to the Power of Love!!

Oops - never mind.  They're still fighting.  But wait—

Lately, some of Payon's citizens have noticed an intense, unsettling feeling looming over their town and are worried that Payon Cave's curse may be spreading.  Local monster scholar Vuicokk claims the sensation feels strongest near the Central Palace of Payon.  A handful of other citizens have already issued requests for adventurers to investigate and remove the source of the disturbance.  Although none of them have offered any rewards, rumors about the phenomenon have attracted a reluctantly curious bard who seems to possess a unique memento:

Love Piece Love is in the air! ... and your mouth? It reminds you of a certain Valentine's Day.

Event Summary: Speak to Sohee in Payon Town (142, 231). Find Valentine NPCs on various maps around aRO. When you speak to them, their names will be displayed in [Pink]. Bring each NPC the correct Cute-Pet egg to make him/her/it happy. It is not necessary to help every NPC. WARNING - Please store your personal Cute-Pet eggs to protect them during this event! The NPCs are so desperate that they do not care if the pet is newly captured or if it's been your loyal and beloved companion for the past 5 years. After enough successful deliveries, Sohee will help you obtain the Love Piece lower headgear.

Chocolate Deliveries
Stam has returned to Jawaii in order to help prepare and deliver chocolates from friends, sweethearts, and secret admirers.  He can be found at 169, 170.  The recipient must be online in order for Stam to successfully deliver the chocolate.

Requirements: 5 Cacao, 5 000 Zeny Regular or white chocolate? Who is the recipient? Do you wish to sign it?

This event is scheduled to end on February 21, 2014.

Lord Kaho's Horn can now be made ingame by accessing Valhalla! You will be able to make regular Kahos, Blank Kahos, and Valkyrie's Kahos along with getting the option to name them!~ If you would like to see any other sprite added to the NPC, please post it here.

Named Kahos cannot be customized at a later time. They will lose their name in the process. If you ticket a named Kaho you will have to acknowledged this.
