is a D inferno worth using?

I've been thinking about making one and i want to know if its worth the trouble.

Any pros and cons about the weapon i should know?
Is it a fun weapon to use? any input would help tons.

Edit: i've decided to go with my gut and use it, its really strong.

the status isn't really that good though (and also I never seen gunslinger using grenade launcher nowadays)

Yes, if you're going to go the way of grenade launchers that is a good gun to use. I personally don't play much of gunslinger but the two best slingers I know i've seen with that weapon.

Don't let Hunk and all the other people who have come and gone destroy the credibility of the Desperado build. It's the closest thing to making a Gunslinger NOT be dead weight in WoE. In certain choke points, this skill is extremely deadly. Used defensively, a gunslinger can take out a capper since they usually tend to wear ED(of course this is assuming they don't get blasted to hell by magic spam first)

He didn't specify WOE or PvM, and many slingers think its a one trick pony which is why i hate that move... (like that matters with all the cookie cutter builds for most classes... )

well in that case ill tell ya my list is based on pvp and mvping, i wouldnt know about woe, since i never did that

i wouldnt know whos the best now, but odds are they arent shit compared to the quality of gunners we used to have

The ones i'm thinking of... dont even play anymore so... any list that would be from the active list of *now* as in today on server... uh yea. I'd have to agree.

thanks for your input on this subject, when i asked around ingame lots of people almost never heard of a gunner using a grenade launcher.

I see the grenade launcher as a means to use elemental ammo in some way plus it has a nice kick to it, i use it mostly for pvm and so far its going well for me i also use a WO Long Barrel and Thunder P, i change skills depending on what my secondary weapon is at the time since pistols are my main.

if you want pvm you should really use pistols

mobbing is the best way to level, and nothing is better for mobbing on a gunner then desperado

i have 4 lvl 99 gunners, and 3 of them i maxed in 1 day each using desperado




random fact: my favourite gunner moment on this server was when i solod bapho using desperado and fly wings

that's interesting, i use a pistol for my leveling needs as well, i'd mob then compress the mob and body relocate into it and desperado my brains out using either my stun pistols or just the basic one i use.

Mvping can be a a pain depending on whichever one i'm fighting but i have learned the it is possible to mvp using a gunner and its fun too since its not a mindless blow for blow battle, you have to use strategy and it takes some time but i like battles like that.

I was thinking about Goldmind, Desertglare, and Professor Z since they were always trying out various builds...although they would still drop to me. Especially Kurosu. He was so hung up about dying. You know what I take it back...stick with two.
