whoa what... it's trying to get patches from 2008? something is whack. i know this is an old question, but i am curious about some things for the sake of SCIENCE!
when was the last time you downloaded the full installer? (i know people who still use an older installer they had saved somewhere... and i know it takes a while to download a new one... but they're gonna run into issues sooner or later.) it seems very unlikely that you did it THAT long ago (2008) because of the major changes that have been made since then... but i recall that a few people have managed to keep their ro working (more or less...) with getting the small/mini installers each time big changes happened.
also, i'm curious if your data and rdata were ACTUALLY that out of date or if something is wrong and the patcher doesn't know which patch to start at so it just starts at whatever is default. (did the patchers actually finish getting any files and eventually fails on 2008-11-26BGm.rgz and 2008-11-26rdata_k7.gpf or were those the first ones and it fails right away?)
