Speed Potions

I'm curious as to how some people seem to mass-farm speed potions.

As far as I know, there are 3 methods.

1. Farm specialty monsters in turbo track
This is impractical because of the low drop rate, limited time, and limited monsters.

2. Cursed Spirit Quest
Although it gives 10 speed potions when completed, it's hard to imagine running 50+ characters through the Biolabs Entrance quest, and this quest (Though I guess sooooome people might).  Also, the quest appears to not be repeatable.

3. Pickpocket Quest
The amount that can be bought is limited to 3 (although multiclienting can apparently bypass this in a sense).  However, this doesn't explain some people's shop prices, as each potion is 15,000z + whatever the guy steals from you, unless someone really badly wants to just provide cheap speed potions to everybody and take a massive loss.

So how are people getting so many speed potions?
Is there some custom quest/monster that has them?

#3 is the usual thing I think, but what's up with the players pricing?  What are people vending them for?

It costs 15,000z per bottle from the npc, but I've seen vends that place it well below that price point.
(around 1/2 to 1/3rd the cost)

There was another method involving the town with the ugly name. 

A npc sold you speed potions at 1 zeny each to help you complete certain trials. This was obviously a mistake on the staff's part but a lot of people, including myself, were able to buy a huge quantity of speed potions before someone asked if this was deliberate or a bug.

I got a good 150k Speed Pots.

From these players = the whole player base so it would have been easy. But all they did was remove the potions from the npc.

This wasn't considered a farming method since you had to do a long quest and a few annoying trials to be able to leave and store them if you didn't have a kafra clip. And even then you couldn't return.

I used it as a farming method, started vending them for 5k and people went crazy. :Da
And there was a Kafra Person in there, but Kafra Clip still made it easier, and you could Memo there, yay for someone giving me the warp.

I wonder if they could at least use the item logs to find the remaining 1z speed potions and delete them, and prevent people from further profiting off them or using them.

They are handling tickets from anthemRO so I'm sure they could do so if they wanted/had time to do so.
