I actually find this statement rather ignorant.why belittle yourself on account someone else is doing it already if you can do the same if not similar

edit: a lot of things here was taken from other places as examples to help the server. or overall were all taken the ideas from the main RO (IRO)

...I still remember the massive breakage of SQI gears that happened following the first set of nerfs.

This must have slipped your mind(and Skoll's)but let me remind you that when the first nerf came, those sign posts that contain update news weren't implemented yet. Everyone who wasn't forum active wasn't in on these incoming nerfs. Hope that helps in remembering that NOT EVERYONE KNEW.

What does that have to do with anything? It's not the staff member's fault that some players flat out refuse to visit the forums for announcements. The nerfs happened and people rage quit instead of checking forums. You must have forgotten the average population around that time because I remember seeing as low as 50-70 people in game at one point. Undoing some of the nerfs did bring some people back, but balancing issues still exist. Look at Nibel's discussion for a "wonderful" look at how players want to "balance" this SQI.

Flat out refuse? I'm not so sure about that. Once the first nerf came in and wind caught on about it, some people did join in on discussions like marjaansomethingsomething and sarita. Who could ever forget about sarita and I do remember those days lol. About 7~10 people were posting in the beginning. Anyway this thread is about ads, not sqis. Please stay on topic.

Nid, who cares if people break there sqi's just because it got tweaked. if people want to rage quit with this mentally of "OMG I;M NOT OP ANYMORE FUCK THIS SERVER!"and instead think rationally and discuss the changes to the staff of why they are upset, do you want them to stay?those type of people pollute a server when they only think for themselves.
