Making a social guild isn't a bad idea, since I'm sure there are still people in-game who have no idea what faction wars is all about.

well, there's an idea. i have been avoiding making Kaeri a guild leader so she would be available to join other guilds for WoE, but lol let's face it... my saturday nights aren't going to open up anytime soon, and wednesdays are going to be taken over by new work hours next month. i don't have any foreseeable conflicts with restricted WoE, but i guess it's pretty obvious what my priorities are now. lol

i will give this some consideration.

i'm actually going to do this thing. help me think of guild names.
doesn't have to be clever, but it should be straightforward. should probably contain "Pax" somewhere.
however, it's not just going to be "Pax Imperia" because the guild is obviously not the entirety of the alliance.

(i already have some ideas, and got some more ideas from other people, but i want to see if more people come up with the same guild names.)

i made a poll with some possible guild names. at first, a couple friends and i were trying to just come up with names that had "Pax" in it, but we weren't getting a whole lot of ideas. So then i thought of some plays on "Blue Team" that sound cooler. Or maybe they suck, lol! I should go to sleep now. I have a fever and in the morning i probably won't even remember doing this. @_@;

anyhoo, i'll leave this poll up until it gets a decent amount of votes, then i'll take the top however many and make a shorter poll for the final results. i could just pick a name, but that's not as much fun and i want to make this guild feel like our guild, not just my guild. ^^

pax imperia means something like imperial peace or something.

find the latin translation of peacekeeper, or soldier of peace or something.

pax militis? pax equitis? pax vindicis? (soldier/knight/champion of peace)

i know nothing about latin. they're probably all horribly grammatically incorrect.
