SK/Garm Drop nerf?

they both MVP drop mystic frozen at 90%, its unlikely to get 0 from killing all 3 of them :|

I don't think the MVP drops (those are the ones that go straight to your pockets) are boosted times three
That would make the droprate 30% so it's highly likely you won't get one from 3 kills

Even if you get 1 per 3 kills, I dont see how its a problem.
Its easier and faster to farm Mystics than to get it off these 3 and wait 30min.

As said, normal drops are boosted with the x3 factor, but MVP drops are not (MVP drops are those that go directly into your inventory). So OBB has a 90% chance to be dropped, and Mystic Frozen just a 30% as already pointed out.

No, OBB is not an MVP drop ... check RMS or the eAthena monster database. It's a normal drop from SK.

No wonder people donate. Here we all thought we had a glimpse hope for a .03% card drop, and then we were hopeless again with a .01%. Haha...

Makes perfect sense why I haven't seen an MVP card drop in over 5 years.

When you kill an MVP, there are two types of drops: NORMAL drops (those drop on the floor, such as card drops), and MVP drops (those that directly go into your inventory). Card drops are obviously normal drops, so they're affected by the drop rate modifier, so it is indeed 0.03%.

I really don't see what's so hard to understand about this. Stop assuming there's a hidden nerf just because you haven't seen an item drop after killing 5 monsters.
