With the ad prices so high... i wouldnt invest on a Garm card unless you have a +8 high def armor for carding.

I would stick to cheap status cards/elemental cards. Bathory card (makes armor shadow element) or disguise cards (silence monster at 30% chance) are good choices imo.

Armor cards or cards in general?
The ones I use the most on my HPs for armor is Bathory Card and Pest Card. If you have those then ghostring, pasana & marc are nice. I never bothered getting a garm card myself.

For shield you'll want tirfing (for most maps) And Alice for MVPs. Golden Thiefbug maybe.

For muffler I almost always use deviling.

For shoes You'll want to have endure (either valk shoes for trans classes or Eddga Card for non trans)
Since yu said you're a HP I suggest Dark Lord card for your valks (although I have moonlight card in mine and it works just fine)

Mid headgear ~Mistress Card for most purposes. There are other useful cards though.

These are all PvE suggestions btw.

Hope I helped

since money is no problem for me should i go for a gram card anyway instead of a element/ status card?

I'd never recommend a Garm, unless you're capable of achieving 90+ natural DEF.

Even then, you're better off with Elemental Reduction cards simply because of critical hits, elemental attacks, and skills will own you otherwise.

Go the safe route, with cheap Elemental/Status armors.

People don't generally aim for epic DEF unless they're crazy bored, and have nothing left to invest in. Like me. -_-;
