Specialty Jure
« on: January 16, 2012, 12:23:55 am »
:) since this all about questions.. i could use some opinions..
would it be a good investment to have a +specialty jure with 2x dopel 1xbapho 1xincantation samurai..
mixed with a crit sin would that be a good choice for all around leveling and money making??
cause its pretty expensive so i would rather ask for opinions first =) or if u have other suggestions for a crit sin that would be great.  ;D

Bapho is not a good idea in a katar. You have grimtooth for that.

If you're going for crits you'll want a gryphon mid and possibly even a gryphon valk helm (although kaho will probably be fine it depends on your other gear/stats and what you actually intend to kill).

Spec jurs will make you bleed all the time btw so you'll need a counter for that.
Ungoliant card comes to mind but then you'll have to sacrifice your gryphon mid which sucks.
/inb4highlukcountersbleed (it doesn't)

Alligator card would be better instead of the bapho (+12 crit) Not so sure about the samurai either. If you need power Turtle is probably a better option.

Then there's kobold death loops (accessories).

Yeah I don't have a cookie cut build for you. I'm sure someone who plays a proper crit sin can give you more advice.

I hope I helped some anyway.

Grimtooth is harder for keeping the mob together, needs some skill and practice but it can be done. Plus its cheaper on the healing and can cause some statuses.

I'm assuming you don't have those fancy gears since DDBS sjur is expensive for you. In which case, if you still want to go bapho, get a vanberk.
Or at least the morrigane set. You don't want to be wasting too much stats on luk.

You will most likely want to stat vit if you're mobbing, in which case you shouldn't have to worry about bleeding too much, it also won't last too long if it does trigger.

DDBT would also be a better choice, and you might even opt for DBTT, depending on what kind of gears you have and how much emphasis you have on aspd. Could always get a +9 exp hat (har har har)
Spoiler for stuff:

Hide, Grimtooth,Unhide to lure all the mobs back again, Hide when all the mob is super close to you,Grimtooth.

You'd be surprised how much the mobs move apart in such a short time.

also, curse arrows work better in general

it also depends on the mob and the map...
