Exactly what do they do now? I have checked on the description in-game and on the site but nothing was updated.

I don't think the description mentions what year they mean. Maybe it's Jan 1st 2016?

Tricked to sell them fast,  they're still on the webshop so they most likely didnt think of any other buff before releasing them, dissapointed =/

We'd like to present you the following new headgears:

• Upper headgears (5 Def, 15% More EXP from all. 10% more exp if upgraded to +7 or higher, 15% more if upgraded to +9 or +10. ):
  • Dragon's Pride
  • Wings of Perseverance
• Lower headgears (0 Def, 15% More EXP from all. ):
  • Lucky Clover
  • Yummy Donut

These items will only be available in the itemshop until January 1st. At this point the headgears will loose their EXP bonus but will gain some other nice and useful stats ( and the bonus stats they gain will also scale off of their upgrade level )!
Use them now to level up, and use em later to kick %@$!
The headgears will be available for 5 ad credits in the item shop.

I was really hoping for this change to take place BEFORE the discount ends in jan 14th like promised.

why? o.o they werent supposed to tell the new buff until they took them off the shop, but guess there is no new buff as theyre still sold there

They were supposed to change them on jan 1st.
I obvioulsy want to know if the new stats are worth the current ad price.
If the discount ends before I get to know then I'd have to pay more.

I'm pretty sure this was supposed to be an ongoing thing. Meaning as soon as the current EXP headgears change stats ~new ones will be in the shop. If it was only a one time deal I don't understand the point of adding them at all.

They should keep them in the ad shop even after their effects get changed.  Someone may want one for their new effects.
