Which would you prefer as a Star Gladiator?

Also, do they proc w/ Heat?

Give me your opinions on this please.

Rideword Hat would proc far more based off the coding script on RMS. During the shift over to eAthena, however, it wasn't working well enough with heat/warmth from what I heard in Odin's.  It should be mentioned exactly why in the SG discussion thread.

With Majestic Goat Horns it looked like the HP drain was 0.3% in comparison to 5% of Rideword and 0.1% in comparison to the 1% for SP drain of Rideword.

I'd probably go with the rideword hat as a Star Gladiator as such if you're intending to use it for warmth.

Was just looking for possible Kaho replacements.

Granted the build in which I'm using right now is about as perfect as one could ever get, with the numerical calculations in all aspects for bonus damage/vit modifiers/ASPD modifiers/Immunities/ect.

My brain was pretty wrecked after figuring all that out. But still, I just want to use something else from time to time, even if less useful in comparison, and ruining the general perfection of the build. So as long as it was still beneficial in a moderately fun factoring way.

Shame though I ended up making a +7 Majestic Evil Horn for nothing. Those proc rates are just so ugly.

Going back to that Rideword Hat[1] though.. I thought I read some where from Mew Gelato or w/e, that it requires a +9/10 upgrade just to utilize the effects of the hat? Is that still true? Or am I able to just quickly make a +7 and call it great, w/o any disadvantages? According to RMS it says it does not, but we all know that RMS and this server are never in balance from time to time on items. Especially when it comes to item descriptions =/= scripts.

Rideword only needs +9 to make certain cards work like Carat for example. Carat gives some SP if the headgear is refined to +9. Sparingly useful but not worth the cost.

Oh yeah, that's what it was. That stupid Carat Card. Yeah, who gives a fuck about that.

Thanks for the quick response Razer!

*off to try to make a reasonably refined Rideword Hat[1]*

...

*ponders wth to card it with..*

Maybe a BK to get some ATK compensation back from lack of Kaho... plus complimentary DEF never hurt I guess.

Well, the Rideword Hat was originally used in Aegis with a Leib Olmai Card for Thors as a cheap option prior to Kasa properly gaining boss status. And the +9 upgrade simply has to do with Myew's penchant for refining gears at a higher rate because it was casually used by other newbie SG players at much lower refinements in Thors. So you should be fine with a +7.

It's healing was just not enough to replace the damage a SG would take in places like Odin's once reflect shield made Thors not worth the trip.  And thus kaahi gained popularity.

As a replacement for a Kaho, BK is probably going to be the best carding you can go with there.
