Events + new updates = win.

Currently the only regular event to keep me here could be Match Me. I know we will be having more events around Halloween ~ Christmas but that's like once a year. I was really looking forward to seeing that daily quest thingy. :x Though now with the mini-games broadcast feature it might have improved a bit.

And we have been waiting for newer updates for a long time. Not going to mention 3rd-Class or renewal, but a newer episode update would be nice enough to keep us interested, it is also the key to attract newer players.

Regarding main chat...Slurpy is right, it is a double-edged sword. I find it interesting yet annoying at times. It is good seeing people recruiting for MvPing/Adventures/Quests, but I'd hope people actually take responsibility on what they have to say, even if it is not against the rules. If someone asked an honest question would you not give an honest answer instead of replying with a joke? Some newbies might not even know it is a joke. The forum is bad enough with trolls, leave the main chat alone.

Advertising, more contact with the community.

Remind people from time to time to make a review on RMS. Stay in contact with the community on Facebook, like doing raffles or random polls, answering people's questions, etc. Social networking helps a lot. You could put a Facebook Like-Box on the homepage, too.

I've been trying to work on having more events like the one in this feedback thread, but since I don't actually have the necessary commands, I can't do it without the help of a high GM, so that makes timing a bit difficult. I'm going to try and work with others schedules to have bigger scale events every 2 weeks. I usually have little mini games and Match Me in between those.

Regarding game content:

Some episodes are just awesome, specially after El Discates (the next episode from ours), Mora Village, Bifrost and LH4. But it's either Gravity doing the job half-assed or, the main reason of all-- pserver players don't care about them (because these places are quest intesive and most pserver players hate that, New World is just the beginning). Specially with us since we have MVP cards and SQIs, these places would be as easy as killing a Poring and eventually get boring (seems like nothing beats LH3, but players are even too scared to go there) and be left like NW did (the only thing that keeps most players in NW are Tendrillion and Mammoth, and some quest lovers like me but that's all).

Server needs more custom content to fill that hole made by custom items, I would actually love seeing a SQI arena as hard as LH3 to be truely end-game.

3rd classes... urg (theres already a full topic on this so u'll just say 1 thing) I know people who left and said they'll only come back when/if third classes come out. And i know people who play now that WILL leave if third classes come out...

Srsly i'm dying to get into that Nid Dungeon... 'cuz you know i dont think i go on enough suicide runs as it is... i need to die more in new places (i'm not beign sarcastic with that i love going on suicide runs into places i know i cant survive in)

This... i know the GMs have their own lives and what not but seriously? we only ever see Tiamat, RSX, and Kirek. Maliqu pops in every once in awhile and is hella fun when he does. And Yes even Fidd Fidd makes an appearance now and then. But seriously? The other GMs kinda like... poofed... some people are completely unaware GMs even go in game (mainly time zone issues with them) but still. Need more active GM's that get in game (not that the ones mentioned dont do that, they're great and we love them but still should be more different GMs)

To be honest, the server can't go -that- much further when it comes to official content. Not sure if you guys have full 13.2 yet, but starting from Scaraba Hole, it will get tricky to update. Gravity fully switched to Renewal on all their servers, so anything after 13.3 will have Renewal stats and Renewal drops. Sure, you can add them with custom stats, but the question is if you want that.

eAthena released the official Nydhog Instance a couple of days ago, though. So adding that should keep people busy for a while.

Custom content is IMO the way to go. People can find official features on any private server. It's new stuff they want to see. Minigames, unique events, just... stuff to do apart from the endless grinding. Also stuff that will keep old players busy. Some epic challenges that will require them to use the fullest of their gears and skillz.

Yeah I understand using official content is no longer going to be able (I played those episodes on officials, except Mora Village and LH4, forgot to say) they're already Renewal.
Custom content is the way to go, I would love to see custom episodes lol~ but that takes too much work for our GMs.

number 1 thing i've heard from people new to RO alltogether (i think long time players from other servers are already used to it) 'The Shiney people (ie lvl 99) dont talk much, and when they do they're very mean usually.' srsly quoting what someone told me, saying i was the first 'shiney person' to have been nice to them in their time on the server. How long had they been on? 2 weeks...

this is why i dont like haveing the shiney on me, i get that impresion up today when i see those people(thats when i first came to RO too :/)

if we can't go any further then we just have to improvise that future stuff with our own imagination if we have too, or if a later date we will start our renewal proces (with aRO magic)

Some quote from player reviews (played for a year or more)

The Community can come off as rude because they are not always talkative, but they are fairly helpful in the right areas.

The economy is bad.

Obscenely overpriced items that for you to grind in one of the server maps with customized spawns to be able to afford vital equipment at high levels.

GM are friendly, although it's a bit rare to see them in game.

i think there is lack of advertising and reviewing so we are all high up and stuff

we need to boost up our reviews on RMS just look, our competition with talon and heRO will be picked first, they seem more active and have many review people will be more likely to visit these servers since they are ranked 1st ( this picture is based on the 6month period) Click 1st month period and animus not even on the first page, its talon RO and heRO, they will continue to grow because they have good effort in getting votes from whatever they do to make players vote, idk what do we do i never heard the word write  a review in game ever as far as i have seen.


and if we have no new update or new event in a while people will go argh so bored there is not many player to be with and all we can do is talk in random city and be boring because they have everything they need and there is no new things to try that are challenging to that person so they drift away

I still think it would help the server a lot if they made changes to help low tier players grind for gear faster but not effect how fast high tier players get gear but unfortunately that isn't a priority right now.
