Without Ghostring you'll be vulnerable against two of the most damaging skills in the game.
acid Demonstration and Asura strike. Unless you want to be completely raped by every Bio that sees you then yes, GR is pretty much mandatory.

ok thanks, is there any other reason as to why ghostring is necessary besides the fact that ill be vulnerable to AD and asura?

GR is fairly overrated in WoE as not all that many people have SQIs (ok a fair enough number do, but still). A lot of skills are nerfed in WoE, and without a good swichup armor, you're asking to get raped by any skilled player with an elemental weapon switchup.

Just get GR, bro. It's very useful against any class other than magic classes.

After you obtain GR, get all element armors. Then you're good to go :]

Ah, but if you just play for WOE, then like Aozora said, it's best for defending against Asura and Acid demo

Actually just get two ele armors. Wind and Fire.
Wind reduces water and wind property attacks
Fire reduces earth and fire attacks

Okay, thanks for pointing out the fire/earth thing.

Ignore earth armor, but get everything else :]

The thing about WoE is that you usually aren't just fighting one person, you can pot, and the most damage (the stuff you can't pot off easily) comes from neutral attacks, which are nerfed by GR. All decent guilds are going to have some heavy neutral hitters. You probably don't even need any elemental armors as a Crusader, just Marc (Marc Wind if you have the wealth) and Argiope/ED for other classes.

It also really depends on if you're going non trans or trans woe. GR isnt really necessary for nontrans.

I would use a Shadow property, and a neutral.

For example:
An Executioner, and a Quad Marina+your other weapon Switches. For a paladin at least.

In non Trans Woe, I know alot of People use Mdef Builds - and that usually means Angeling.
Thats where your Shadow Property comes in.
