we already have this kind of layout since animaro, and it makes me wonder whether GMs have any plan on changing it in the future ? not a suggestion, im just asking

From my experience in joining various forums on the internet, honestly this forum lack many useful features such as "rep" function?
would be nice if this forum also include thumbnail on latest discussion on the top of the page.or maybe subscribe button.

not to mention, the layout now is too plain .maybe it just my personal preference

Out of every forum I have been on, I prefer this layout the most. It's simple and it's clean.

I've been on a forum before where it lets users choose from several themes according to their preference, so people who like the original theme can keep it that way and people who want something new can have something new.
Maybe that can be done here, though that would be lots of extra work just to have eye candy.

I don't love it, I just like it the way it is. Besides, I can say a majority of the population likes the way it is also.

It's amazing just the way it is.  I think adding a whole bunch of buttons would just make it look more clustered.
