I want to MvP With my pally and I was thinking which is a better choice:

+10 TTAkAk mace or +10 AkAkAkAk mace?

Also Should I put executioner on my aegis or should I use Alice?

Not much you can kill on your own, try a party when you want to kill harder things, and pretty sure quad Ak > TTAkAk
Alice would be a good choice if you only plan to MVP or have multiple aegis. Stick with Toad > Alice > Gtb carded Aegis if you plan to make multiple's. Unless you don't WoE/PvP, then replace Toad with Tirf? Depends on your style of play.

Dunno about shield carding, but TTAkAk will give 210% damage as opposed to quad Ak gives 200% damage.

TTAkAk It shall be. I guess I'll just have to unslot my TTTHH mace or sell it and by a TT mace. Trading +10TTHH for a TTAkAk mace! XD

TTAkAk is only +90% damage, whereas quad Ak is +100%. TG and Ak are the same modifiers, special (modifiers are size, racial, property and special) So therefore they stack.

They stack instead of multiply? Okay, didn't know that. My bad.

don't know if carding still works the same way on eAthena server.

but back in aegis days, same cards = effect add up /whereas different cards = multiply (linked)



For instance, 4 hydras (20% on demi-human race, duh) carded in mace[4] would give an extra 80% damage on human players and human monsters= (20 + 20 + 20 + 20)

2 skeleton workers (15% on medium size enemy) and 2 hydras carded in the same weapon, on the other hand, would give 82% damage boost on human players as well - about the same as 4 hydras.

= [ [1+( 0.15 + 0.15)] x [1+( 0.20 + 0.20)] ]
= [ 1.3 x 1.4 ]
= 1.82 ► 82%



*Suppose* carding calculation was still the same on eAthena, and the damage modifier from Turtle General card didn't stack with Abysmal Knights,
TTAkAk mace would be practical for MvPing purpose

extra damage on boss monsters from 4 Abysmal Knights carded in mace[4]
(25 + 25 + 25 + 25) = 100% damage boost


extra damage on boss monsters from 2 Abysmal Knights and 2 Turtle Generals carded in mace[4]
[ [ 1 + ( 0.25 + 0.25) ] x [ 1 + ( 0.20 + 0.20) ] ]
= [ 1.5 x 1.4 ]
= 2.1 ► 110%


But then again... If the card script forTG was the same just like other attack modifier cards as Shadowfaux said (If it added up with Ak), 4 Abysmal mace would be most practical.

It goes by the script, not the card. AKs do not multiply with TGs.

Okay so Quad Ak mace and what for the shield? Tirfing? Executioner? Alice? NOte I don't PvP or WoE it's just PvM And MvPing. But I don't really PvM on my Pally since he's already 99/68. : /

Alice Cross Shield, since I doubt you'd go for an Alice Aegis. :p
