So if I want a name

Given that said name is taken, would it be viable to ask a GM  to name/char-check to see if it's active >_>

'at least change theirs if it's some lvl 14 novice keeping me from getting mah new name :[

I'd pay extra.

Just saying. Refuse to put stars or hyphens or w/e in name >:o

He want's a name. But that name is taken.  :-X

The name he wanted is probably being used by a lvl 1 novice and the novice isn't active.

If someone took a name I wanted I change it. For example

I wanted a char named Kyle. Didn't have it. Now I'm known serverwide as Kiyle
Distortion, wanted same name. Now Distortion Blade. Or Distortion* etc I have no trouble with name finding.

If someone has already taken the name you can't force them to have another name.  You're just going to have to pick something other then I am awesome.
