Server Closed????

I was just in GH prison and had used a BM when i ran into a couple of friends and guild mates and sat down to chit chat,not only could i not chat i couldn't move,after about 6 mins i was booted to desktop,i attempted to log back in and it now says.
"Server Is Closed"is there a reason for this?And i have never seen that mssge before so i'm just wondering what has happend?

Actually seriously i am not on all the time,and it is the first time i seen it,last time i even think i seen anything similar was way back when a certain GM did what ever it was he did to the server,So i was like omg nuuuu not again....and thats back when it was anima,and like i said i don't get to play all the time so it was new to me.
