Up to you, try a money making class (although gears are pretty hard to obtain, but since you got hardcore friends, your choice) like Merchant/Blacksmith/Whitesmith.
If you want a more supportive class, try Acolyte/Priest/High Priest.
Your class is pretty hard to play, and needs special tactical knowledge really. It'd be best for you to make a Blacksmith, with the skill "Greed" and once you get to a high enough level with the help of the community, you can try mobbing for other players using the Monk skill "Steel Body" and bringing your Blacksmith along to "Greed" all the drops/loots in Niffleheim.
