A dummy's guide to EmptyMoon (INcompleted 1.7)
« on: February 14, 2011, 08:07:47 pm »
Who is EmptyMoon? What is Emptymoon? Where did EmptyMoon come up with the name EmptyMoon?
Would Emptymoon stop repeating his name already because I already got it the first time!!? Will Emptymoon answer all of these questions?

Well, If those are the questions you have in mind when you click on this thread let me tell you this: You'll find out soon :D
please bear with my silly intro because I'm not really good at this part  :-[

So, I've been here for quite a while (since November 2007 back in AnimaRo days) but I started playing Ragnarok Online in general years before I settled here.

I don't know if it's because RO was my very first experience of MMORPG or because the game has always been too darn addicting, but there is something about this game that I can't just get enough of.
Every single minute spent on this game was never a dull moment for me. I still enjoy the game graphics, the system/layout, quests and pretty much everything about this game like when I first started playing.

It's safe to say that I'm a big RO fanboy  :D

ooh, I see a hand! yes, do you have a question? :)

lol pic or it never happened n00b

.....I see

I was a little kid when I saw my cousin played what he called 'awesome Korean game' the first time and I was really excited. A brain of a 10ish years old boy practically blew up when he told me he was playing with other real people! from all over the world! I remembered bugging him to make an account for me every time he logged on the game despite knowing that I'd always get the same answer - no, it's already too late to sign up for open beta. you can watch me play though.

Even just sitting beside my cousin and watching him play for an hour a day was a great fun for me. The 3d anime-like graphic and the soothing background musics never got old and I could watch him play for hours if the dial-up modem cable could support the heavy internet usage and would not set on fire.

Spoiler for Preview of the good old days:

Spoiler for city maps+world maps:

Spoiler for newb experience:

The great Baphomeat vs. early RO population /go

A young magician in iRO/kRO beta! (originally known as first kRO server. Most people called it iRO beta because there were so many gamers from other countries in it as well. kRO was basically first iRO.

The screenshot was taken on my birthday  ;D

Ah....Those screenshots sure bring back memories. Back then there were only first job classes. You could see bunch of little novices/mages/thieves/swordmen/archers/acolytes and merchants running around. Every single beginner map was highly populated and there were never enough monsters. Porings would never get a chance to wander around and look for stray loots. Mvps such as Baphomet and Orc Hero were killed right on their spawn point. Of course, killstealing and looting were inevitable   but everybody seemed to focus on exploring the game and having a great time in Rune-Midgard.

Spoiler for My cousin's swordy:

figured out PrintScreen button around this time /heh

hold left mouse button and hope for the best! /ok

I missed the old Miss

Probably the first and also the last time that I ever saw that hairstyle (thief's)

20 newbies 1 horse

Nightmare's face said it all.

messed with Golden Thief Bug right after that.

Uncompleted Incompleted, to be continued.... /sleepyhead

Because this is useless, doesn't belong in this section, and you did not take even a moment's time to read the description for this section before posting this.

Also I don't give a damn.

This thread hasn't been deleted yet so I guess the GM's accept it >:O
