It's not supposed to work on MvPs right? Or does it now? Because my friend uses a TTH suik and mine was uncarded so it was supposed to be more or less the same damage but when I used his the damage went up by about 5k on Kasa.

Yep it should work on bosses, always has to my knowlege too.
