Can someone help me out?

i just downloaded the game and im trying to install it, once i finished installing i ran the patch. then when i play the game it says "Cannot init d3d OR grf file has problem"

What can i do?

This can mean a few things. I am not an expert but this can be caused by your resolution settings you are playing the game on, or you are missing one of the files needed to run the game. Did you download the full installer?

1. Change your game resolution by running Setup.exe
2. Update your graphics drivers (Google search them)

Try changing the top drop down menu in setup.  Be sure to remember what it was originally on.
