It should be pretty obvious that an item with the only purpose of summoning a random monster/MVP wouldn't magically give items just for using it like an OCA etc would. Sure you can kill whatever it spawns for items/exp but... that's about it. Missing that is almost as bad as messing up 2+2=4 or that the sky looks blue during the day...

Truth be told neither DB or BB actually give items at all hence why what you said just confused them. =3=
But whatever, I'm kinda moody so I don't think anything I say right now comes out very nicely.

I'm sorry, I was under the assumption that not everyone can MVP easily. I have yet to successfully MvP, I'm dirt poor and can't. Therefore, logically speaking, at least in terms of the general populace of players that don't have large parties to MVP with, saying that wasn't obvious to me.

I apologize for my ignorance. I hope some day I will have enough knowledge in this game that I won't need to ask questions that appear stupid.

Don't worry about it Dandin, everyone has to start at some point.  Nobody just starts out with top gear, although some people can't help their snobby attitudes.

To reiterate what everyone else has said, breaking branches isn't illegal in Niff, but we do have some failsafes in case people can't kill them, mvp's summoned by bloody branches, will disappear in a few hours, so if a monster there is giving you issue, take a break, go hang out with some friends for a bit, come back later.

To identify the difference between bloody branches, and dead branches, Bloody branches will summon mvp's, where as dead branches will summon normal monsters (and some mini bosses).

And to correct someone earlier in the topic... Niff is actually the first map of skellington, not the last, it's nif_fild01, then the map over is 02, then niffleheim itself.
