. . . Apparently I made this TO hard I after this weekend I shall hopefully have a guide made. Right now though I'm a bit busy.

I tried to make it a little less obvious so as to promote some critical thinking.

Once you job change from Acolyte to Monk/Priest, you lose the ability to use that weapon.

If u want that weapon make a new aco n get 1 OR delete your current aco and make 1 OR drool over it. any job 2 class cant wear it. but somewhere in forum GM said gonna get 1 for the 2nd class weapon

i personally think that newbie 2nd class weapon is not worth it, because once you change you already have better skills and better gears to wear. though they should do something about those quest to make it worth doing :/

i figure that the point is to promote doing the actual job changing quest. you see, if they're going to offer a second way to offer a special item, it shouldn't easier then the first. they should both be equally difficult.

anyway, if you want to get together a search party, i'm more then willing to attend. I don't currently need the newbie weapon any more, but i would like to know where the hell that npc is for future reference.

don't you just do the quest and get the newbie weapon? i've done the quests and i got the weapons when i finished it

NNV is referring to people who didn't do the job change quest, so they missed out on getting the Newbie Weapons for free. Imo, the second option shouldn't be as easy as the first. They missed out on the opportunity, so if they want it that bad, then they should have to work harder for it.
