I was thinking of selling my +10 DBSS in exchange for a +7 or +8 TT Western Outlaw
since I no longer play much anyway. I just take a peek at the game once in a while
and do a little lvling at niff to relieve my stress.
I also want additional money so I could trade my Regular Kaho for a Beret Kaho.
Unfortunately, it seems like no one has any of the two things I mentioned.
Anyone has an advice?
My advice is you're placing too much emphasis on a Western Outlaw.
First off, it's harder to refine one because it's a level three weapon. And it has 68 attack. You do get a bonus with: Increases HIT and Attack Speed depending on the AGI of the player. But both of those bonuses are more directed at PvP/WoE. So you probably wouldn't see a TT Western Outlaw to begin with. I'd imagine if they're carded they'd be Doppel, TG.
You won't really need HIT unless you're fighting a super high flee opponent. And the attack speed boost is based off this formula: bonus bAspdRate,readparam(bAgi)/14. If I'm reading that correctly...say you have 99 base agi (which you wouldn't in a typical Desperado build...) then you'd only get 7% more ASPD. So it's honestly not worth paying the extra zeny for a higher refinement of this drop.
A Garrison (2) has 70 attack, and it's only a level 2 weapon so you can refine it higher more easily.
There's a NPC in the Gunslinger guild in Einbroch that should create a Garrison (2) for you. He's named Garrison; he's next to the two NPCs that look like prospectors that sell you guns/bullets inside of the guild. Simply walk into the guild and go in the right most warp. You have to make a Garrison (1) first through him. And then you can turn it into a Garrison (2) after that unless it's been disabled for some reason. You should be able to clarify with a support ticket, regardless.
If you want to know all the specific requirements then just go to Google and search for "ragnarok online garrison (2)." Your first result should lead you to the forum thread with the requirements.
This way you could make your own gun (assuming the NPC works) and buy some TG cards at your leisure. Though if you're going to use it casually for leveling...
2x Santa Poring (if you're leaning towards the Loli Ruri map more) or 2x Scorpion King cards (if leaning more towards Niff) are typical for leveling a Gunslinger. It'll save you some money as well buying either over MvP cards.
As for a regular kaho ---> custom kaho. That'll take some saving.
