I believe it's Indonesian and Malay being spoken. It's not Tagalog as far as I recognize.

I was honestly assuming, because a couple of words I recognized as tagalog (I speak it, why yes I do) so either I'm mistaking a word for another one, or they are using another dialect of Tagalog.

There always words from totally different region/country have the same words and same or different meaning.
You can expect more similarity when Malaysia and Philippine both in South East Asia.
