He should reveal the sellers name. I am pretty sure there is a big network of such people. There are a lot of players particularly from South East Asian Cyber Game cafes who indulge in this kind of activity - unfortunately how do you prove them guilty ? One thing is to monitor suspected players giving out large amounts of zeny and gears as "gifts" but that can get tiring for the Gms.

like Roon said, it was an honest mistake. I don't know what other punishment will suffice but banning him is too extreme in my opinion.

If anything, the seller should be perma banned and this guy should lose all the zeny he "purchased". That would probably make them quit but at least they'd still have some things.. Unless they "purchased" everything lol.

According to the rules, the seller gets to feel the wrath of the ban hammer, and the buyer gets his stuff confiscated. Maybe he's just temp banned since the case is being investigated?

Or maybe he's hiding stuff that he should tell, like, who his "friend" really is, and so on. As we all know, RO players don't like to betray their RO friends, and since it's a case of RMT, it's most likely a RL friend, and maybe both of them were playing from an internet cafe, and as a result due to the same IP, both of them are banned. Ahhh, how I hated those internet cafe cases.

Anyway, who wouldn't think that buying stuff with REAL MONEY from other persons except the GMs/donations/ad credit shop would be legal? This is not allowed in ANY MMORPG.

Did that Kane guy say that you could recover your banned account for buying something with 50 ads? Hahaha.
