Are daggers giving lesser damage output after the switch?

Are there new ATK formulas or something? I notice a lot of people crying about daggers being shitty after the switch.

I think it's mostly because in order to swap poison off, you'd need to switch a katar on, to remove BOTH weapons instead of switching just one weapon.

i do have daggers, problem is i never did play dagger sinx much before so i have no clue if the damage is higher/lower
