[Closed-Tq All]Sherwood- Best card to put in ? and stalker styles?

You'll never kill anyone who is even slightly geared or skilled with a regular Stalker build unless they're out of pots or something.

I mean, Professors aren't meant to kill people either, but I could always go for a High Int build or Autocasting or something and I'd be able to kill a few people.

But then I wouldn't be able to Support as well or survive as long.

Stalkers could probably go some crazy Max Int build and Copy JT or SG or something and spam that for a couple kills, but then they'd probably die in an instant, not have enough Weight for pots, or not have IC.

You'll never kill anyone remotely decent with just Sherwood though. I guarantee it.

I wasn't talking about with ONLY a Sherwood. XD And, I'm thinking any class could kill any class fully geared, if you knew what you were doing.

If your goal as a Stalker is to kill people, then you will not be a successful Stalker.

Sure, you CAN kill people. Maybe that guy in PvP, or that lone person in WoE.  But once another person or two show up, you're gonna have to get your ass out of there unless you have backup of your own.

I've never believed this.  In other MMOs, sure.  But in aRO some things are so messed up and broken it's impossible to kill someone with the right gears.  You could have +10 everything, gears up the ass, know exactly how to take the other class down, and still fail.  Every class has something it's bad against.  Try to kill a good Bio or Pally.  It's probably not gonna happen.

This isn't Call of Duty or Halo.  Assisting someone in a kill is just as good as actually killing them yourself.  The end result is the same.  Their team is minus one player, putting you that much closer to victory.

greaterpee is right, you can barely kill anything on stalker, all their good for is stripping people and using DDB sherwood in woe for their critical wounds, thats pretty much all their good for, i can barely carry 50 white slims cause of all the armors, and valk armor is heavy so i cant even bring that along. Have to end up using things like cotton shirt or adventure suit sometimes on stalker just to have enough weight to be able to use skills and have room for pots, yggs and gj. Stalker sherwood cant even kill anything, they have the worst damage, even that 18 cell range is useless at times. You need like 2 or 3 sherwoods put together to add up to arty damage. Took me about 2 mins to kill a bio when i saw him wandering around with my sherwood, i'm using DDT sherwood, with 2x supreme bris, and crit shit, and still even swapping to different arrows it took a while. The only good thing that sherwood even provides is that critical wounds. Stalker is like a support class almost ~_~

Carding wise, depends on what you do, DTB is pretty nice in woe, DDT if your not the flee type.

For woe - DTB/DDB
PVM - DDT/DTT
PVP - DDV/DTV/DDsw/DTsw

if you gonna have Bapho on ur sherwood... why bother putting Turtle if you're saying stalker damage is pathetic...
i dont see the point of stat'ing more Agi on WoE if you have a bapho sherwood.. its rather pointless.

Ahh ... this is awesome guys =D Thanks for the replies and support. It really helped me in knowing ho w to play stalkers for PVM PVP and WOEs. =D (as for PVP i just need to kill somepeople thats been ksing me alot =p damnn ..=p)

As woe, i do believe that stalkers are the support type n i kinda like the idea of mob locking kinda thing =P but i think i could go more versatile having DDT/DTT sherwood in PVM and for woes, i think i might just strip n JT =P

=.= after reading all this, somehow felt like sherwood is not really a fun sqi interms of damaging .. more to stylish approach =D

still having issues wif DDT/DTT choices .. but more towards DTT since sherwood damages sux .. haha
