What Takes HIGH GM"S so long to answer support tickets
« on: January 13, 2008, 03:40:51 pm »
I know this may not be the best place to do this but getting tired of waiting. I first put in my ticket#73 on 11/15/07. A GM responded on 11/24/07 an I responded the same day. Now closing in on 2 month from the last time I heard anything on it. I understand they are busy but all most 2 months to answer a support ticket by a High GM is a little much. I would like any responds at all some kind of answer, or am I just going to have to wait forever on this.

if you know this isn't the place to do this why are you still doing it?

This is the place for it, everyone who has an issue with their tickets have posted in here about them.
I have my own I have been waiting on since June of last year, and I haven't posted about it yet.
Yet newer tickets get seen before mine.

All tickets from Anima Ro have been lost, if you did not resubmit to the Gm's of Anthem RO they know nothing about it.

Depending on the case, it might be awhile. I believe it was about 6 months before my support ticket was answered, granted part of that was when the forums went down.

Remember, there are only 2 high gms out there to do the job:

1. Track down items
2. Find out exactly how they got there
3. Ban parties that are responsible for theft of items/accounts
4. Find out how much money went where, what things were sold for
5. Reimburse parties

Here's one real summary of mine:

Victim: 123456 - JohnDoe
Accused: 123456 - accused IP: xx.xxx.xxx.xxx at the time of the theft
Details: Accused logged onto victim's account, selling herself several items at a very low price, along with selling others his items. Then deleted characters off his account.

12345678 Pebble_Ring -> 123456 - purchasingparty for 15m
12345678 Pebble_Ring -> 123456 - purchasingparty for 15m
12345678 +7 Mink Coat (Garm) -> Accused broke when upgrading
12345678 +10 DBSS Mace -> 123456 - purchasingparty for 15m
12345678 +7 Muffler (Deviling) -> Accused broke when upgrading
12345678 +7 Buckler (khalitzberg) -> Accused broke when upgrading
12345678 +7 Shoes (Eddga)  -> Accused broke when upgrading

123456789 +10 Battle Axe (DBSS) Accused then took victim's money (60m) and purchased a +10 DBSS Battle_Axe.

Then traded it for various items.
Trades: Victim's account - 123456 - JohnDoe to 123456 - JaneDoe

123456789 Clip (Spring Rabbit) - Which belonged to the victim

Now, I replaced the names for sake of privacy. But see where it says purchasing party bought stuff for 15m? I go back to the purchasing party and figure out how much they sold that item for, then subtract that from the amount they bought it for and take the profit back. If the purchasing party does not have enough money because they purchased something else, I have to go through the logs and find out what exactly they bought with that money and then take it from them. Make it as if the deal never happened at all. Now, you know it takes a while when I pull up item logs, I mean, you guys can feel the lag when I pull up the item logs. I have to sit there and analyze exactly what happened, look up each and every item number to make sure I have the correct item and the exact amounts it went over to the purchasing party for etc. I also have to verify each and every IP.

It's kind of like CSI /heh I think my longest ticket, took 3-4 hours to do? It's really draining /omg

No longer high GMing. Please do not message me about your recovery. Don't give away the keys to your car and you won't have it stolen and have to go to the police to try and get it back.

Indeed, handling issues of that kind does take a lot of time to handle them properly and making sure they are just.
With the high amount of issues of this sort that there are, It would take a good while for things to happen.
But my case is just a stolen account, back in my nub days, or am I still in them ???

Denia told me in my ticket I would have to pay already, most my guild bitched about it because its the GM's decision technically.

I thank you for your responds GM Denia. I fully understand that it take a lot of time to make sure it is right, but it gets depressing not knowing or hearing anything for such a long time when u work so hard to get the items that end up stolen or missing, Once again thank you an I hope to hear soon on it.
