Title: I should wait yes?
Post by: FangerZero on June 18, 2009, 08:59:16 pm
ok I know you're all going to say quit whining >.> but I am curious about how long does it take to get an item recovered, when GMs ask if I want it recovered? They said everything is legit and asked if I wanted to pay 10 ads to recover it. And I said yes. I ok'd it on May 29th. Just curious if it does take this long after everything is good? I heard I'm a get to wait a few more months ^_^
But some people say to send in a second support ticket on the side, and I am like >_> I should wait. But I'd think it wouldn't be that hard. but hey I'm not a GM, so I wouldn't know and that's why I'm asking to make sure that it just takes a while.

Uhhh. You should have sent in a Spend Credit request. 10 ads, and directing them to the correct ticket number, did you?

I wouldn't hold your breath, most tickets take ages to get filled as the GMs are usually loaded with work (other tickets, server improvements etc.)

Yeah, if they tell you you can recover it, and how much.
yeah and they normally dont reply anymore after they tell you if you wish to recover it, a friend had a ticket like that 2 months until i checked what it said
just make a spend request saying the support ticket number and the item involved

Would've been nice to have known that /Swt They should've told me if you would like to recover please send in a Spend credit Ticket referencing this ticket number.
EDIT: Which one is Spend credit? is it "Donations/Ad Sponsors" ?

also, don't bump your ticket. Apparently it puts it to the BOTTOM of the list instead of raising it.

I guess they think it needs to go unsaid? Dunno. But, yeah, just go make it now, and expect your item back..soon-ish?

I did make it, thanks. But even though you think it goes unsaid, for someone like me who's never had to recover an item I was left hanging. I've only ever used spend credit report once and that was cause the Uncard thing isn't working.
not to mention if you don't first make a Support Ticket they probably won't help you. So you think they'd do it all in one, but hey they have their reasons.

they might've missed it, i got one going like this:
Quote from: ticket
In order to recover this item, please send in a spend credit request in the amount of $10 stating:
Denia: Recovery ticket #1302 and please put the account information the item should be placed on.

Yeah, I'm not sure. Maybe it's somewhere in the rules for recovery? *shrug* I think they won't do it if you just make a Support Ticket, because they'd then have to go back and manually take ads out of your account?

@FangerZero - Legend of Dragoon rules! I still have my original copy. Would love to see a remake of that game.

Their suppose to reply back saying that you can send a spend credit then you do so. If they asked if you want to continue the recovery and haven't replied after that then you have to wait till they send another message or at least that's what GM Tesla told me.

Dude so do i and my friend talked about E3 maybe leaking something about another Legend of dragoons but i doubt it its been wayy to long for a sequel
And sending another support ticket will catch there attention but also rude because its like bumping your request and skipping other forms and what not i have been yelled at by a gm once on another server for that same reason

well here what the GM said: "I can see that the NPC did indeed take the angel wing ears.
We have a flat fee regarding this, it's the same as dropping an item.
84538581 Ears_Of_Angel_ (8008)
Would you like to recover your item?"
@ Dragoon Lovers: GAME IS FUCKING AWESOME!!! ^_^ They need to make a prequel not a sequel lol Everyone would kill to play the Dragon Campaign Era. And it's never to late to expand on a great game /shy

If you do want to recover it and a GM has asked that, instead of waiting on the GM to tell you what to do, skip to this step:
Send in a spend credit request in $10 since that's the fee for item being taken by NPC. Put in the spend credit, what account you want said item on and what character. In the body of the request, put:
Per GM ________Whoever asked you to recover________, please recover my item from ticket #whateverthenumberwas.
Make sure the GM who asked you if you want to recover, was a high GM.

got this when I sent in a report >_> I guess I'm a bit annoyed now GM Said: Don't submit a spend credit request for item recovery before a GM tells you to do so.
so apparently you're not suppose to do a thing till they tell you to do something

ya that's what I'm annoyed at the GM asked if I wanted my item recovered so why do I have to wait for him to confirm my answer? /sigh

There was a slight miscommunication with the staff. It was my fault, I forgot a step in my recovery process.
