I'm thinking of finally using my bs to niff, and was wondering is a bk better or should I just use my Pharoah blinker?

Pharoah blinker will save you money on GJ? Main point to go niff is to make money? So saving money seems a better option.

BK-> mobs die quicker so less meat usage
i use cubic blinker just to get random gift boxes

bk never really seemed to be so great to me for niff...from my experience it doesnt change alot dont go expecting like a massive change in dmg >> with that being said, u could use a simple cubic item :x

Why would you use a Pharaoh as a bs in niff? if you're niffing right you should be using 0 gj
Yea myst case mid is better since you are mostly there to make money, and to get okay leveling experience.

myst case FTW xD For me BK is only useful if ur going uber high def cuz with the mid gear def it gives 4 base def*which is alot if ur def junkie* and fighting monsters 1 on 1

yeh, 20atk is only 20damage pretty much... but if u think of it this way: 3def from bk is almost a pcb /gg
but yeh, dmg dif is only like...what. 5dmg/hit? probly better off gettin gift boxes

My gear suck? So I have to compensate with stats? Thus my INT is not that high. Also I use Maximize Power which eats away my sp. -_-;
Hmm. My base Int has always been 1 when nifing...Never run out of Sp too unless Im overweight. Yea I guess it is the Maximize Power that makes you need Gjs. But then again the extra damage you do with Maximize Power is much more negligible, compare with the extra damage you do with Bk.
Also, you can turn on Maximize Power when killing a mob, and turn it off after that. If you insist on using it, that is.

What do you mean? Maximize Power makes you hit the maximum damage you can hit on monsters, e.g., you hit 89, 93, 102 on a certain monster without it, with it you always hit the highest you can do, 102, 102, 102 etc. So every weapon used should benefit from it, but just not that great to let it drains your Sp constantly.
While Weapon Perfection makes you do 100% damage on all sizes.

this is what i believe about dex min~max atk difference

so...no matter what weapon...if your dex is below weapon atk, (obviously with sam card in DBSS mace) everyone need maximize power including mace. so scolary...it's not that different if u dont use maximize power compare to those who use mace.

maces hits doesnt change so much on each damage numbers
but flail or chain does change a lot on each hit
reason is the refinement bonus doesnt apply on every hit i think and theres more difference between a +0 to a +10 chain/flail than a +0 to a +10 mace

Edit: its cause the gap between min and max atack you can get gets bigger with +10 level 2 or 3 weapons than just by a +10 level 1 weap

I thought Myst Case Card only gives normal Gift Boxes and Mimic Card gives OBBs...maybe I remember wrong since I never used it before. /heh
Oh yeah, my bad, forgot to mention that I got lots of OBBs from the Gift Boxes. xD

yup i had a chain for a week or something.. made a DBzipper for ovb but didnt work out good then made it DBS and sold it
but the hits change a lot /ok

@OP you can test it yourself, pay attention to the damage you do with and without Power Maximize. If you think the difference is small enough to ignore, then dont bother with it. Vise versa.

But I already maxed out weapon perfection though. -_-; What else am I going to use the extra 5 skill points?

What else you dont have? Finding Ore is great. But as a Blacksmith for nif you will surely have extra skill points since only a few skills are required for nif. I just randomly add them to some Merchant skills like Vending. =x

Well Weapon Perfection doesnt cost you much Sp and it does help the damage so why not? I just press the skill button whenever Im going to bump into other people it makes me stop instantly. =x

Mystcase headgear FTW. The Def bonus of the BK is ok though.
Don't bother bringing GJ at niff. Use the honey drops instead. They're only worth about 250z when NPCed anyway.
Recently opened up 1k of Giftboxes (which I got from constant niffing). Got about 2mil from NPCing the items i didn't want.

i use glasses[1] 1st before i got a sunnies[1] from myst case...then add 5 ads to make awe[1].

yeah i know :< that's why i overup my myst case to awe :laugh: but i use myst case when i 1st start niff where i have limited fund...and yeah..i dont trust BK

on WS use cart boost to get rid of it and replace the adrenaline rush quick
if BS using a GTB or a DDBS weapon or if you got osiris you can agi you up but only after you kill the mob

DDBS=u never have to worry about casting adrenaline rush and agi down from monster ever. your attack is consistent that u actually kill as fast as people using DBSS DBSS+gtb? meh...damage reduction is awesome

I like my DBSS really. I'll probably just keep using my tirfing. Then buff up my vit a bit more.

Aside from what balam posted, you can also try to not get hit by your mob for 5~10secs, log off to your char screen, and relog asap. ;D
