Title: i cant play,the computer restarts

i formatted my computer
and i reinstall anthemro
and i patched it
but when i run the game
the computer shows an arror in a blue screen and restarts
i can run the game from anthemold.exe but i cant see my equips

i dont know whats wrong exactly

can u help me please?

i had something like that that happened to me but mine just shut down or restarts what fixed my problem was a new video card =x later we just got anew motherboard cause our comp was old x.x

I use boostspeed. I find it works well a does a few other things.

i used it guys but its the same


man the game was working probaply before the format

but now its not

Its the Blue Screen of Death. It'll usually says something like "Begin Physical Memory Dump" right? There's many reasons for this like because you formatted your computer you may have caused the errors. If the blue screen appears outside of playing a game it usually means you need a new computer. Please give specs on your computer if you know them it would allow for more help.

Also make sure your have the newest DirectX downloaded. Also reinstalling the game client may help, anything you think you can do that wont cause more harm to your computer would help, remove programs you don't need.

Also maybe take out ur Vid card and if u can run it from the MOBO chip set. Swap out mem to. maybe that might make a diff !!!Pluralitas non est ponenda sine neccesitate...

How old is your computer? The reformat might be what caused the error. Does the blue screen only occur in playing the game?

im using a DELL laptop i bought it 10 monthes ago

2.0 GHz
1GB ram
265mb VGA card

It could be something to do with your sound. I remember a while back people would get problems because the sounds files would be corrupted.

Go to your RO folder and find the Setup Application open it. Find where it says 2D sound or 3D sound and turn it to off. Try and play the game and if it doesn't work post back here. Also what does it say when the blue screen pops up on your screen?

Only One other thing I can think of. Try getting a fan and placing it where it can blow into your computer. Your graphics card may be overheating. Also does it appear right as you start up RO? If this doesn't work look at my answer below or come back to me with an answer.

Best thing I can say is to try and contact one of your local computer repair shops and explain your problem to them. It'll cost some money but with age of your computer its not worth replacing unless the cost is too much to fix it. If all else fails try downloading RO again or reformat again.
