Hiya my fellow friends.
we already have this kind of layout since animaro, and it makes me wonder whether GMs have any plan on changing it in the future ? not a suggestion, im just asking :D

it irritates my eyes a little :D

Think this has come up before... and if i remember the anwer was no >.> buuuuut not 100% sure about that one.

From my experience in joining various forums on the internet, honestly this forum lack many useful features such as "rep" function?
would be nice if this forum also include thumbnail on latest discussion on the top of the page.or maybe subscribe button.

not to mention, the layout now is too plain .maybe it just my personal preference  :D

I like it the way it is. If you change it then people will be all like wtf where's the old aRO forum theme that I always loved.

You're pretty much suggesting this because it irritates your eyes. Selfish!

Out of every forum I have been on, I prefer this layout the most. It's simple and it's clean.

I've been on a forum before where it lets users choose from several themes according to their preference, so people who like the original theme can keep it that way and people who want something new can have something new.
Maybe that can be done here, though that would be lots of extra work just to have eye candy.

I don't love it, I just like it the way it is. Besides, I can say a majority of the population likes the way it is also.

It's amazing just the way it is.  I think adding a whole bunch of buttons would just make it look more clustered.

There's no reason why all of us have to put up with the same thing for years on end. I know that the majority are "used to it". But after awhile... It gets dull to see the same gray theme. I don't know.. I guess I have something against the color gray.

Many forums give people choices of 4 or 5 skins although I am pretty sure it was not just skin that he meant.
Maybe the ranking system, Profiles etc.

Skins are a pain to add and maintain. Especially when dealing with addons....

I'll see about other stuff. Talk with staff members etc.

It's possible to have both worlds. It's just not easy.

I don't know about it being a pain since I haven't messed around SMF. But it's possible.

A new forum layout would be very very nice.
But with the same structure.
Because other server's forums are super messy and you can't find anything as quick.
