Reduction from Defense

First:
How much defense give reduction?
Let say I have 60 defense,is it -60% damage taken?

Second:
How much Vit defence give reduction?

First: Basically Yea

Second: 1 vit = -1 damage from hits, 100 vit = -100 damage

I think it can't go below 1 damage normally.

And, just cause the number on the screen says 60 def, doesn't mean u actually have 60.
The +'s on ur armor gives .7def each. So if u have an armor that's +4, u get the def from the armor + an extra 2.8def from the +4.

actually now the number it shows is the real defense :3 they changed so it shows real defense an after so much reduction if im right it just starts to miss like if you use assumptio on a steel body champ

So,If I have 99 or 100 def(which one maximum defense).I will have 99% reduction and received 1 damage only except I get hit from skill that ignore defense.

Edit Question:
Can I know what skill that ignore defense including monster skill?.Magic attack is exception(can wear GTB you know).

It calculates it properly, but it rounds it so wat it shows is close o wat it should be (off by like 1 point )

The muffler gives 2def and the +8 gives 5.6def, should show 7.6, but shows 8 instead Close enough i guess.

Combat Knife. Some SQI, Battle Ground weapons. Critical hits.

Some monsters have critical hit attacks, and critical hits ignore defence.

owh,upgraded stuff give 0.7 defence.
So,+10 stuff will give 7 defence?

ya, but i was saying that my muff is +8 so i only get 5.6def from it
Just showing how the game doesn't use decimals D:
