job level

what job level do you have to be before you can go to your second class?
my thief is job lvl 33 and it wont let me go to assasssin.

Job 40 but if you stand waiting to job 50 you will thank yourself.

i know but i cant stand being a thief anymore...plus i still have to rebirth after im done being an assassin so ill wait till lvl 50 then

Actually... thieves don't really NEED job 50 IMO...
as a sin steal shouldn't be of much concern to you when levelling. Envenom level 1 gives most of the sin poison skills already if I remember correctly...
level 10 hiding isn't even needed.

But go with what you think is best for you. Think of which skills you want with how many skill points in them... Then add them up. Add one to find the job level you should reach before changing

i normally go for job 40/45..

just get the skills needed for lvling..
after all, theres still a trans..

my thoughts exactly....besides..i was looking..and its not possible for me to max out all of my current skills...and i made sure thier at the lvevls i need....i have all the skills i can get as a thieft right now...so why bother going to 50?

Thieves don't need to job change at job 50, although it will benefit you so you can max out skills like venom dust and enchant poison but it isn't a must. Job level 45 is good or 44-40..
Unless you can find a nice friend to leech you, or lend you dopples, fire enchant you and tank you at Mi Gaos (it's how i help my friends get to job 50 XD) or if you already have a high level char then dual-client and tank yourself..

first job skill points aren't transfered to second job skills...
So you'd still have to use them on thief skills

If you want to be an assassin get these skills as a thief:

lvl 10: Double Attack
lvl 10: Improve Dodge
lvl 10: Steal
lvl 10: Envenom
lvl 1:   Detoxify
lvl 2:   Hiding

That is job level 44 and it's really easy to train to. You don't need job level 50.
