I think it's hard to survive because super novice has low HP.Bathory/ED armor is the best but it still can't avoid sonic blow.you need a DL Shoes to protects you from die after he sonic blow.Once you have a right element armor,you are safe to use deviling garment but ED armor still pain if facing pasana(fire).SO:

Armor=Bathory
Garment=Deviling
FootGear=Dark Lord

About the weapon i think it will take long time to kill anubis.you have Nibel rite?use knight spirit(soul link skill) on your super novice to use it.WW level 4 to kill  anubis.WW level 3 to kill Pasana.

They are demi human so Toad would do good to reduce dmg even further. Not sure about SN's but with toad, bathory, and devi you really shouldnt take all to much dmg.

I forgot can't use spear but mace still can use rite?Try acolyte spirit and use Grand Cross(mace) for Turn Undead skill.
