Eggs/Pets that give bonuses

I came by this RMS item while looking at MiyabiDoll card.

Miyabi Ningyo Egg: [monster egg] An egg that has Cute-pet Miyabi Ningyo sleeping in it. Can be hatched by using a Pet Incubator.
INT + 1, Reduce Casting Time by 3%.

Is it possible for our pets to be coded to give some sort of buffs (ie. stats, +atk, +maxHP, +SPrecovery, ) when they're out of their eggs? Or get bonuses just by having those eggs in the inventory list?

it's when they're out. haven't tested the pets yet to be sure if they give the stats atm though

Even with the stats they give, I think pets are completely useless..
Buuuuuuuuuuuut, getting my pet Alice and then getting her to Loyal was amazing~

Thanks for the fast replies. 

What buffs should the pets give that would be nice to have for Animus players? Race-specific buffs (5% more ATK damage vs undead/demons)? Or the support buffs similar to the Miyabi egg above?

Making them give bonuses just for having them in your inventory is stupid. Why?

As for making them give bonuses? I don't really see why not. Perhaps just take the original effects from RMS or iroWiki and modify the ones that aren't suitable for us.
