What I did when I was raising my homun was I bought the amount of food I knew it would need to get through that particular intimacy lvl. So when my homun hit neutral i made sure i had 500?(I think it was but its been so long) monster feed on my alchy. Of course if you forget to feed your homun a lot then that doesnt really help so much xD I bought like 25 extras tho for my fux ups when i left it to starve. Although as far as I know your homun shouldnt start losing points until it hits 1 hunger, and even then it should only lose one point per minute.
