For PvM purposes only, is a DPS of 1.2k~1.3k acceptable for a lvl 96 sin? Is it  bad, good, or what? @_@

As long as you have 190 aspd, some % or + atk card or ice pick/def piercing daggers, high str and the right element (ex: fire on mavka).
When you mention dps, is it 1.2 k total damage per second or 1.2 k per hit?

And it's kind of vague when you are doing grimtooth/baphomet.

I'm guessing you mean 1.2 double attack. If so, that isn't to bad.

I mean 1.2~1.3k damage per second, approximately. My aspd is extremely low, I do about 2.3 attacks per second, iirc. I do about 550~ on my right hand swing and 110~ on my left hand swing. Which would actually be closer to 1.5k DPS on average, sorry. @_@ I'm not using Grimtooth or Bapho, but I use criticals, and they pierce def. I almost never use elements, since I haven't gotten around to making a sage for endows yet.

I want to trans my sin. Can he survive as a sinX with the gear set listed below, or should I put off transing till I get better equips? I don't have time to get equips for him right now, since I'm working on gearing my priestess and biochemist.

I would really try to get a dagger with a dopple or two before transcending.  it will make leveling so much faster.

Yeah trans lvling will make you cry w/o good gear and so will your money making if you depend on sin to make money
