Strange problems with chat box. ):

So I guess I accidentally clicked something on my chat box because the transparent blue part is completely gone.  I've tried fixing it with F10.  The white chat box is still there and I can talk and chat just fine.  I just can't see any past messages, and it's slightly irritating.  Everyone keeps telling me to just click the right blue dot to expand it, but it won't do anything.  I relogged several times on different accounts.  All the same thing.  And there's a strange little icon to the right of my text box.  Does anyone have any ideas of what I should do?  It's driving me crazy.

Move the white chat box untill you see 2 small boxes and click on the second box on the same spot where is the arrrow pointing .
