Everything is downloaded. Everything is patched as much as it should be. I've only been away from the game for like two days.

So everything works fine at home. I can get on Anthemro, play, and everything. No annoying problems besides lag during WoE but everyone has that. Anyways! I come to school! And it's not working. I can't connect. I tried fixing a couple of months ago when I came back to school but no luck then. My school claims that they're not blocking anything from AnthemRO so everything should be fine and says that it's probably my computer... but it works fine at home!

I'm even using a direct pluggy internet thingy in the wall. The server is on. I checked. The AnthemRO patch works and I'm able to type in my useraccount and password. But it says "Failed to connect to server"... Help <3 /wow

Not sure if I should send a support ticket... I figured I'd ask you guys before I bother GMs <3

Make sure your username/pass are correct. Make sure you don't have caps lock on...

/hmm

Cant think of many other things, unless you were trying around last night- in that case I think the server connection was down.

Seems like your schools IP is blocked from access by aRO. I have heard of several IP ranges being blocked before.

I come across similar case to this one, what i did is i downloaded again the latest fullinstaller available in the site and everything comes back to normal...

@Razer: My school says they checked out AnthemRO and says they're not blocking the IPs... unless they're lying to me T_T

@pepesmith:... Do I really have to? T__T It's been like... less than a month since I downloaded AnthemRO...

Lol you got me wrong. I meant that aRO could be blocking your ip - you know for some illegal activity in the past.
Better resolve this via support tickets. Lastly, what school allows PC gaming in their premises unless if its something special.

Does your school use a proxy? There has been problems in the past trying to play RO through one.

Anthem doesn't block IP ranges from the game server itself. Try redownloading the mini installer from the post Fidelis made, and reinstall it and see if that helps it at all.
